Our Story
Built from the Ground Up in Houston
Superior Choice Roofing was founded in 2020 by Wyatt Laird with a simple mission: bring together the best roofing talent in Houston and treat every homeowner the way we'd want our own family treated. From day one, we've assembled a team of true rockstars — professionals with over 20 years of hands-on experience who take real pride in their work.
What sets us apart isn't just skill — it's how we operate. We believe in radical transparency and heavy communication at every step. You'll always know what's happening on your roof, why we're recommending it, and exactly what it will cost. No surprises, no runaround, no fine print.
Why Homeowners Choose Us
What Makes Us Different
Local Houston Company
We live and work here. We're not storm chasers who blow in after a hurricane and disappear — we're your neighbors, and we stand behind every job we do.
Heavy Communication
From your first call to the final walkthrough, we keep you informed every step of the way. You'll never be left wondering what's going on with your roof.
Insurance Claim Experts
Dealing with insurance after storm damage is stressful. We work directly with your insurance company to make sure you get the coverage you're entitled to.
Family-Owned & Operated
As a family business, our reputation is everything. We treat your home like it's our own and hold ourselves to the highest standard on every project.
Fast Response Times
Roof damage can't wait. We respond quickly, assess the situation honestly, and get your home protected without unnecessary delays.
Total Transparency
No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch. We walk you through every recommendation and every line item so you can make confident, informed decisions.
Certified & Trusted
Owens Corning Preferred Contractor
Superior Choice Roofing is a certified installer of Owens Corning Duration and Duration Storm shingles — two of the most trusted and durable roofing products on the market. Duration shingles are engineered for long-lasting beauty and performance, while Duration Storm shingles are specifically designed to withstand the severe weather Houston is known for.
Earning Owens Corning preferred status means we've met rigorous standards for installation quality, customer service, and professional conduct. When you choose Superior Choice, you're getting a contractor who is accountable to both you and the manufacturer.
